Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026. Effective: June 2026.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using ArchSetu. They govern your access to and use of the platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ArchSetu (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service.
2. Description of Service
ArchSetu is a static code analysis platform. You submit a GitHub repository URL; we analyze the code structure using pure static analysis and return a report including health scores, call graphs, dead code lists, and complexity metrics. We do not execute your code, and we delete any cloned copies immediately after analysis.
3. Account Registration
You may use ArchSetu without creating an account for public repository analysis, subject to rate limits. Creating an account (via GitHub OAuth) allows you to analyze private repositories (on Pro plans), save tracked repositories, and access your analysis history.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must not share your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at coder@archsetu.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Submit repositories you do not own or do not have permission to analyze
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract proprietary logic from ArchSetu
- Use ArchSetu to scrape or extract data in bulk for competitive purposes
- Circumvent rate limits using multiple accounts or IP rotation
- Attempt to access analysis results for private repositories you do not own
- Introduce malicious code, payloads, or exploits via submitted repository URLs
- Use the API to build a product that is a direct substitute for ArchSetu without a commercial license
5. Repository Permissions
By submitting a GitHub URL to ArchSetu, you confirm that:
- The repository is public, OR
- You own or are authorized to share the repository for analysis
For private repositories, you must authenticate with GitHub and authorize ArchSetu to access the repository. We use the minimum required GitHub OAuth scopes (read-only).
6. Intellectual Property
Your code remains your intellectual property. By submitting a repository URL, you grant ArchSetu a limited, temporary license to clone and analyze the code for the sole purpose of generating your analysis report. This license terminates when the clone is deleted (immediately after analysis).
ArchSetu, its UI, analysis engine, algorithms, and brand are the intellectual property of ArchSetu. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute them without written permission.
7. Plans and Payments
ArchSetu is currently free to use, subject to rate limits. Paid plans are not yet available. When paid plans launch, pricing, billing terms, and a refund policy will be published here, and existing users will be notified before any charges apply.
8. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control (cloud provider outages, force majeure events).
We are not liable for losses resulting from Service unavailability.
9. Limitation of Liability
ArchSetu is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties about the accuracy of analysis results. Static analysis has known limitations (dynamic calls, runtime-generated code) that may cause results to differ from actual runtime behavior.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ArchSetu shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
10. Privacy
Your use of ArchSetu is also governed by our Privacy Policy at archsetu.com/privacy. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may request deletion of your account at any time by emailing coder@archsetu.com. Upon termination, your personal data and private analysis results will be deleted within 30 days per our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. If you are using ArchSetu from outside India, you agree to comply with local laws in addition to these Terms.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email (if you have an account) or a notice on the website at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
